YBO2 burned bright throughout the 1980s and 1990s with their one-of-a-kind musicality and overwhelming presence. This project is a new, 50-minute rendition of their masterpiece “AMERIKA”, a song some go so far as to describe as “sinister”, reinterpreted for the modern era by artists and bands tied to Trans Records, the label of late YBO2 leader Masashi Kitamura. The album is the first time this ultra-extended long version woven together from painstaking recordings of nearly two years of sessions has ever been released.
