1992年結成、96年にTakeshi、Wata、Atsuoという現在のメンバー編成へ。活動当初から27年を経た現在も一貫して独自の方法論で、自らの想い描く”Heavyさ”を追求、 自らの音楽の創造と破壊・深化と変容を為し続けている。 ...”重さ”は深度を深めつつも、固定化されたジャンルやスタイルに捉われないその特異な音楽性は、轟音・爆音という形容だけでは語りきれぬ領域へ。
近年はよりグリッドレス、オーガニックなサウンドと、メロディアス、ポップなサウンドを同次元で鳴らす多様性を先鋭化させ、2019年6月、カバー、インスト曲を含むエクストリーム・ポップサイドのシングル「tears e.p」をTRASH-UP!! RECORDSよりリリース。COALTAR OF THE DEEPERSのNARASAKI率いるSADESPER RECORD、成田忍のサウンド・プロデュースによって更なる領域の開拓を見せる。
2019年10月4日にはWhite Stripesのジャックホワイトが運営するThird Man Recordsからアルバム『“LφVE” & “EVφL”』（国内盤は10月16日にTRASH-UP!!から）をリリース、2020年2月に掛け、のべ12週間に及ぶ北米・欧州・日本ツアーを行う。
そして新型コロナウイルスにより混迷に突入する世界と同時に完全自主制作された、最新アルバム『NO』をBandcampで7/3に先行リリース。アーティストとしての自身に対する問い、そして確固たる態度を世界に示した。

サイケデリック人力トランス軍団「彫刻の庭」（後にNIWAと改名)と「BORIS」のスプリット。「BORIS」は長尺ドローン（kanau part1）から一気に爆発し、ワンコードでドライビングする（kanau part2）王道ヘヴィクラウトロック。 対する「彫刻の庭」はプリミティブなパーカッションの響きが印象的なヘヴィサイケデリックトランスナンバーを収録。
